Hope you have all had a great Saturday. I have had a lazy day today. We are still waiting for our niece to be born but she is on her way now so we are off to Southampton to hopefully see her tomorrow so will be away from my blog/craft room for a few days.

Second card of morning!

This card I have made for the birth of my first niece. She was due last Wednesday which is why I have put that date at the bottom of the card as I was just testing that bit for size. As yet we are still waiting for her to be born - come on hurry up Amy we can't wait to see you!

Anyway I have entered this card into Totally Gorjuss whose them this week is Congratulations.

Two Quick Posts before work this morning

Hi all - I made these two cards last night but as the light is so poor at night to photograph them I have done it this morning.

New baby card

Hi, hope everyone is having a good weekend. I went to a family get together yesterday - it was one of those that I didn't really want to go to but once we got there we all had a really great day. Today I am having a lazy day at home the first time at the weekend for a few weeks so looking forward to hopefully doing some crafting.

For my New Baby card I have used my new (and first) LOTV stamp. I love this cute baby image. I bought the A5 occasions stamp set when they were on special offer and really love them. Can't wait to use the other images.

One Stop Craft Challenge 88 - Monochromatic

My second post of the morning is for the One Stop Craft Challenge 88 - Monochromatic. For this challenge I have used my favourite Whiff of Joy Stamp.

This card is a 5"x5" square purple card. The image is Whiff of Joy coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Papermania .

Just Magnolia Challenge 63 - Recipe

Morning all, I love Wednesdays as it is my day off work and my crafting time. I should really be doing the housework now but that can wait until later. This is my entry for the Just Magnolia Week 63 Challenge. This is my first time doing a recipe rather than a sketch and I have really enjoyed it. I think I have got all the elements - 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 ribbon.

I have used my Dinner Tilda stamp coloured with Promarkers.

The papers are really old HOTP ones which I have had for years but never really used them

The flowers are Prima flowers.

And I have used my Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the blue paper.

Pretty Pink Magnolia Card

I have made this simple monochrome Magnolia Tilda card whilst my husband and two boys have been watching the football so have had a bit of peace and quiet for a change!

This is my first challenge and I am going to enter her into the totallygorjuss challenge-37-sketch and also totallypapercrafts challenge-23.

Hopefully the next challenges won't take me so long to link together!

Hello and welcome to my new blog. I can't believe that I now have my own blog. I have been thinking about creating one for months but just haven't got round to it as it seemed such a daunting thing to do. Anyhow I eventually got round to doing it and it wasn't too bad a task once I got stuck into it.

So am now going to add my first card in the hope that it appears where it should do.

As you can see I eventually managed to add my card although it has taken me quite a while to move the image to below my text. The card is a lovely golden colour for the summer and I have used my new Whiff of Joy stamp. Hope you like it.

Off now to finish my housework and hopefully get an hour or so in the garden as the sun is out.
